Eamonn Keogh is the co-founder of Duo Finance. His banking career started in 2004 after leaving the health and fitness industry to join ANZ where he spent 5 years before moving on to Westpac to continue working in Business & Commercial Banking.
Eamonn left banking in 2013 to start his finance broker career and after several years he founded Duo Finance with long-time trusted colleague Chris Anesco in 2020.
With a passion for helping business owners, Eamonn’s focus is around traditional business lending, cash flow lending, debt restructuring & property investment. He takes a personal approach to his work, building strong partnerships with clients and other advisors to provide
tailored solutions.

Chris Anesco is the co-founder of Duo Finance. He has been working in the finance industry since 2004 and holds a Diploma in Business (Banking and Finance) from RMIT, a Certificate IV in Financial Services and Mortgage Broking from UNSW, a Diploma of Financial Services from the AAMC Training Group and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Swinburne.
With a specialisation in residential lending, Chris also possesses key strengths in finance structure, product knowledge, research and building partnerships with clients, broader business & banking networks. Some areas where he can assist include investors looking to develop their property portfolios, and homeowners in buying their dream homes, upgrading and renovating.
As Chris’ focus is building long-term partnerships, he ensures their loans remain competitive and that the product is appropriately matched with changes in their lifestyle. Like business partner Eamonn, Chris understands that the key to successful business is honest, regular communication, trustworthy partnerships and never forgetting to have a bit of fun.
Chris is a big Brisbane Lions fan and enjoys watching footy and NBA games, exercising, dining out, catching up with friends and family as well as travel.

Luay is an experienced Banking and Finance professional. His experience spans over nearly 20 years, with many years spent as a commercial banker at a major Australian bank.
In 2014 Luay established his own specialised finance brokerage. Leveraging on his extensive experience, he successfully carved out a niche within the commercial finance and alternative debt solutions / private funding space, which caters for clients with debt requirements that do not fall within the appetite of major banks. This extensive experience holds Luay in good stead to assist clients with their unique finance requirements.
Luay is a PhD graduate of Victoria University. He holds a Master of Business in Management Practice, and a Bachelor of Business in Commercial Law. His PhD focused on the factors contributing to effective relationship management within the banking sector.
Maya is an Associate Mortgage Broker at Duo Finance, bringing seven years of combined experience in the legal, financial, and banking sectors. As part of the Residential Brokerage team, Maya is dedicated to empowering and educating her clients, helping them navigate their applications with confidence. She is passionate about delivering seamless outcomes and ensuring her clients are well-informed and supported throughout the process.
Outside of work, Maya enjoys traveling, exploring nature, reading, trying new foods and coffee, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her pets.
Kate is a Commercial Associate and holds a Bachelor of Business. She works closely with commercial brokers to address the unique lending needs of SME clients. With more than a decade of cross-industry experience in finance, digital communications, marketing, and media, Kate brings a diverse skill set to the Duo Finance team. Kate enjoys analysing client financial data to uncover insights that underpin their lending requirements. Her customer-centric approach enables her to articulate a client’s story in a compelling and effective manner to potential lenders, to secure the best possible loan terms for a clients’ unique situation. Beyond the office, Kate runs a small book club, creates digital artwork, and loves to travel and explore new places.
Prerna is a Commercial Associate at Duo and holds a Masters of Banking and Finance. Bringing over five years of experience, Prerna helps businesses navigate the commercial lending process guiding them through loan assessment requirements, lender expectations, and best practices for financial structuring, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. She is passionate about simplifying complex lending procedures for clients. With a strong background in credit analysis and risk assessment, she ensures businesses are well prepared to secure the right financial solutions. Prerna’s expertise makes her a trusted partner for clients seeking informed, strategic lending decisions. Outside of work, Prerna enjoys spending time with family, travelling and exploring new places.
Shaziya is an experienced Banking and Finance professional with more than 13 years’ experience in retail banking credit assessment quality control, accounting, auditing, and statutory compliance.
Shaziya spent five years in credit assessment and quality control roles with a major Australian bank, where she gained an in-depth understanding of credit assessment for mortgage applications. She was responsible for the review of applications, often complex in nature, as they entailed the assessment of self-employed and corporate applicants with convoluted entity structures.
Prior to this, Shaziya worked as a financial accountant for an FMCG business where she gained a strong understanding of financial, taxation and compliance requirements. Thus, her experience holds her in good stead to service clients to the highest standard.
Shaziya is a graduate from Karnataka State Open University and holds a Professional Education II certification (CA- Intermediate) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Yasmeen is a Credit Analyst at Duo Finance, bringing thirteen years of experience in the banking sector and as a credit underwriter to the role. With a skill set rooted in the commercial space and an in-depth understanding of governance activities, her strong communication and collaboration foster robust stakeholder relationships, which are critical to securing the best commercial loan.
Yasmeen graduated from Karnataka University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). In addition to her professional pursuits, Yasmeen enjoys cooking and playing badminton, and she has a passion for makeup, bolstered by her certification from a renowned makeup academy.
Joshua is a Client Support Officer at Duo Finance, working closely with residential brokers and credit analysts to provide a quality service and support to our clients. His work encompasses anything from pre-submission of home loans to post-settlement loan maintenance. Joshua has seven years of professional experience in customer service focusing on eCommerce, human resources, and finance.
Outside the office, you will find Joshua smashing pickleball shots, chilling out with his string instruments at home, or travelling to explore the hidden gems of his home province of Cebu.
Mai is employed as a Client Support Officer at Duo Finance. She collaborates closely with residential brokers and credit analysts to provide exceptional service and assistance to our clients. With fourteen years of experience in customer service encompassing industries such as telecommunication, e-commerce, finance, and mortgage broking, Mai brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.
Outside of work, Mai enjoys exploring the various provinces of her country, with the goal of visiting all 82 provinces in the Philippines. Additionally, she appreciates leisure time indoors, playing games on her handheld console or laptop.
